Klopp delighted with Sturridge, Henderson returns
Jurgen Klopp has stepped into this side and has transformed the style with the Reds playing with a bit more swagger and goal than they did in the last 12 months.

‘It’s very important because Southampton only have two opportunities to win a title, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
The global sports website gave the 21-year-old a rating of 8/10 along with the following caption, “In the absence of the suspended Lucas, the young German excelled in a deeper role than usual”.
“I think if you look at the fixtures we’ve played already, we’ve played a lot of tough teams away from home, so that’s obviously nice”, he added.
“We have to fly to Southampton, then fly back and then fly to Newcastle”.
The positive impact of Jurgen Klopp’s arrival on Merseyside shows little sign of abating, with Liverpool having beaten Manchester City, Bordeaux and Swansea City in consecutive matches.
The last time the two sides met in the League Cup was back in November 2002, when goals from Patrik Berger, El Hadji Diouf and Milan Baros sunk Gordon Strachen’s Southampton in a 3-1 win at Anfield.
“Football is not a sport where you can only play one way”, he explained. “I’ll have to talk with him tomorrow – I think he’s ready for Southampton”. They need to support him (Klopp) and he started off with all the odds against him.
Henderson and Sturridge were snapped during Liverpool’s training session at Melwood on Monday morning, appearing to suggest they’d come through their returns to first-team action unscathed. We saw their last three [games] and some spaces where we could play, or thought we could play, but when we started we could see they watch their games too and had reacted to it! Things are only going to get busier…
But Liverpool edged home to move into the top six and close to within four points of a Champions League spot.
“You have to be realistic with expectations and I think Juergen Klopp is now maximising the potential of the team, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to win the league. It is exciting times for everyone”, the England global said.
‘It’s my responsibility to get results. Chelsea were ordinary and it was a poor match.

“I’m not afraid. I prepare my team always about what we can do and how we beat the press and then we have good opportunities to create chances”. It looks like he’s been burnt out; he has nothing to offer.
