Latest Browns decision: Austin Davis or Johnny Manziel?
That’s what the Baltimore Ravens did in turning back the Browns, 33-27.

Baltimore came into the game as the first team in National Football League to have the first 10 games of its season decided by eight or fewer points, and the 11 extended that streak.
On a chilly night in Cleveland, the Ravens got the whole Schaub experience, and it appeared that the quarterback’s final mistake, coupled by the latest inexplicable late-game defensive meltdown, would cost the Ravens the game.
The Cleveland Browns haven’t provided any confirmation, but a broken collarbone is the most likely injury. “You can try to boil it down at the very end of the game but it takes a whole game in all three phases every week”.
Browns kicker Travis Coons had beaten Baltimore in Week 5 with an overtime game-winning field goal.
They didn’t have it. Davis took an 8-yard sack on second down, then couldn’t complete a deep pass down the right sideline to a well-covered Benjamin.
It is extremely hard for a good team to overcome giving up two touchdowns on special teams.
But with starting quarterback Josh McCown out of the game with a shoulder injury and normal third-stringer Austin Davis in, the Ravens inexplicably allowed Cleveland to tie the game.
Manziel started the last two games for the Browns, and in the previous two games, he replaced injured McCown in the fourth quarter.
Say what you will about the Monday night game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns, but make sure you at least note that it was entertaining. The Ravens, mixing run and pass, surged back on top 24-20 with a 12-play, 80-yard drive capped with a 15-yard pass from Schaub to wide receiver Kamar Aiken.
Leading by four points and starting at their own 1-yard line, the Ravens strung together a huge 17-play drive. Many were outraged, some accepted the defeat as another day in the life of a Browns fan.
Just a week ago, Browns coach Mike Pettine finally got permission to publicly discipline Johnny Manziel. After the Browns got the ball back on another Matt Schaub interception, they had some odd clock management errors despite having two timeouts.

After the teams exchanged field goals, the Ravens increased their lead on Buck Allen’s first touchdown, when he caught a short pass from Schaub, playing for injured starter Joe Flacco, and darted to the end zone.
