After Xiaomi agreed to use its Mi 4 smartphone as a test bed for Windows 10, it became pretty clear that we would soon be seeing a Windows 10-powered smartphone from Xiaomi.
This past March, Microsoft made the mildly surprising announcement that it is working on a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for the Xiaomi Mi 4.
The interesting thing to note her his that the Xiaomi Mi 4 is a pure Android handset and doesn’t run anything else out of the box.
Let’s hope this concept of “Windows One” created by DeviantArt user danielskrzypon gets noticed by Microsoft and eventually used to overhaul the design of the company’s latest OS, no matter how long it takes because the design is just that good!
Xiaomi and Microsoft previously announced their partnership to expand Windows 10 presence in China.
It will be compatible with all Mi 4 handsets that are now in operation and the company will post detailed instructions on how to install it on the device. However, it is to be noted that only the 64GB variant of the Mi Pad 2 will come in the Windows 10 variant.
But Windows 10 is created to work across a variety of devices from PCs to tablets to mobile phones. Apart from that, Windows 10 for mobile features Continuum, which essentially turns your smartphone into a full-blown desktop computer when connected to necessary external hardware.

Would it be correct to assume that Microsoft might officially introduce Windows 10 Mobile to customers around the same timeframe?
