Paris suspect visited cafe after attacks

According to Olivier Martins, Ali O’s lawyer, his client received a call from a friend at around 1pm on the 14 of November.

Oulkadi and Abdeslam were reportedly friends since childhood in Belgium, and it has been reported that the two met at a Brussels cafe where Abdeslam bragged about his involvement with the jihadi terror cell.

Oulkadi lives in the same largely Muslim district of Molenbeek – dubbed a hotbed for extremists – where Salah and Brahim Abdeslam hail from.

A lawyer for the detainee, identified only as Ali O, said Abdeslam had admitted that his brother had blown himself up in Pairs.

The suspects, aged 19 and 20, who told authorities they were on their way to a training camp so they could fight in Syria, were arrested in southern Tunisia and were flown to France on November 13, the day of the Paris attacks.

French authorities also believe that Abdeslam and his accomplices had broader, even more destructive terror plans in mind after the Paris attack.

A sixth suspect has been charged in Belgium with terrorist offences connected to the Paris attacks.

Belgian Justice Minister Koen Geens said Abdeslam was “likely” getting support from others, adding that it was unlikely he could evade security forces without outside help. “He could not understand it and could not think clearly”.

“You’re not going to tell me that driving someone from one location to another around Brussels means that you’re automatically implicated in the terrorist attacks”, Martins said.

This information was also later confirmed by the sources close to the investigation, while Paris prosecutor’s office said on Friday it would launch an inquiry into the leak of confidential information to the press.

One was charged Monday with participating in the activities of a terrorist group.

A court on Friday ordered Oulkadi detained for a further 30 days.

Authorities say Abdeslam remained under the radar for four hours as chaos enveloped the French capital before calling acquaintances Mohammed Amri and Hamza Attou to come get him.

A subdued France paid homage Friday to those killed two weeks ago in the attacks that gripped Paris in fear and mourning honoring each of the 130 dead by name as the president pledged to'destroy the army of fanatics who claimed so many young lives
