Parker: Van Gaal puts the “fear of God” into Man Utd’s players
Manchester United have been accused of being boring this campaign.

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal admits the absence of Luke Shaw is a monumental one for the club.
The squad are bored with the monotonous nature of training sessions and it’s affecting morale, the Sun reveals.
“Van Gaal is a good trainer when his team get results because then everything is accepted”.
Parker then went on to stress that Van Gaal is not getting the best out of his players due to his poor man-management.
Vardy will break Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 straight Premier League matches if he finds the net at the King Power Stadium. Any player who doesn’t conform to what he wants is chopped.
“Van Gaal puts the fear of God into players”, the former England man added.
To be in the position we are in at the moment and not playing well, that’s a good sign.
“But I played under Roy Keane and captains always sacrifice themselves and their own game to make sure the team wins. If someone were to bid for him in January and he asked to leave I don’t think you can blame the lad because he has had [success] late in his life”.
Following the team’s most recent draw against Leicester City, many have already begun speculating that the team will look to bolster its attacking prowess during the winter transfer window.
Plus ça change. First, against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, with the Reds’ scoreless draw leaving United’s ongoing participation in the competition hanging in the balance. However, some question whether the player’s performance this year justifies the extravagant price tag for a striker that has only played with one top flight club in his career.
Parker also suggested Van Gaal was showing favouritism to Rooney in refusing to drop him despite his poor form, which has yielded just two league goals this season.

United are the lowest scorers in the Premier League’s top five – 20 goals from 14 games – and have drawn four of their last eight games 0-0, just some of the damning statistics from their season so far.
