Indiana Planned Parenthood Clinics To Review Security After Colorado Shooting
In the wake of the shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs last Friday, a weary-sounding President Obama voiced Tuesday his hope – yet again – that a mass shooting in America might actually inspire action on gun control. “Here in New Hampshire, Republicans on your executive council cut off funding to Planned Parenthood”.

Although alleged shooter Robert Lewis Dear reportedly mentioned “baby body parts” when arrested at the scene of the crime, Dear has no connections with the pro-life movement and those who know him best say he was never interested in the issue of abortion.
Dear, 57, is charged with killing three people at the Colorado abortion clinic after a six-hour standoff with police and could receive the death penalty should he be charged with first-degree murder, the judge said, as reported by the Courthouse News Service.
All Indiana clinics were open Monday, and despite the recent shooting and increase in threats, Planned Parenthood says all of its clinics will remain open.
“We have had very strong security protocols in place for as long as there’s been a Planned Parenthood”.
Obama added that Planned Parenthood, which has come under heavy criticism after a video was released about it selling fetal tissue, has given women access to healthcare for generations.
“I think it’s fair to have a legitimate, honest, debate about abortion”. After a hostage situation, Dear surrendered and was taken into custody, according to authorities.

In a statement released by Planned Parenthood the company assures they are taking every necessary precaution to keep patients and staff safe. “We share the concerns of many Americans that extremists are creating a poisonous environment that feeds domestic terrorism in this country”.
