Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera responds to reports that he’s
To break the trend though, there has also been talk of a player departing as midfielder Ander Herrera is said to be keen on an exit due to the lack of playing time that has come his way this season – according to reports from the Daily Star.

However, the 26-year-old playmaker posted a photo of an interview that Herrera gave last week, reiterating his desire to remain at United for many more years.
Herrera had told United Review: “What I am doing at United, I enjoy a lot so I don’t want this dream to finish. Very happy at Manchester United”.
There are still reports that Herrera will stage “showdown talks” with van Gaal, and while that doesn’t sound entirely unreasonable, it is worth noting that they appear to have their origins on the pages of the Daily Star. He’s always repeated that to fans, isn’t scared of having to fight for his place in the team and his celebration after Bastian Schweinsteiger’s deflected victor against Watford (watch here) certainly didn’t look like somebody who wanted to leave in order to further his career.
Herrera has made 35 league appearances since joining Man United in the summer of 2014 for £29m from Bilbao’s Athletic Club, scoring eight goals in that time.

Herrera endured a three-month spell last season when he only started two games and has begun just six of United’s first 14 Premier League matches in this campaign.
