Night Football, Ravens vs Browns

“Honestly, I had confidence in my field-goal block team”, Dumervil said after the Ravens’ 33-27 victory. Pryor was signed as a receiver, a position he has great potential to play with his size and speed. “I just hope that the Ravens and John Harbaugh can get his head in the game and focused on being a better player and not mouthing off to his former teammates”.

It was a uplifting 33-27 win for the Ravens, who have seen all their games this year be decided by a touchdown or less.

Pettine will make a decision later this week as to who will be the starting quarterback when the Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.

After Matt Schaub’s pass was intercepted, and the Browns moved past the Baltimore 35-yard line, Travis Coons had the chance to kick a field goal to hand Cleveland their third win of the season. He missed two games with a rib injury and started against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, but now he is done for the season after his collarbone was broken in the fourth quarter. As much as the Browns are disappointed with the way Manziel has conducted himself, the fact remains that they spent a first-round draft pick on him.

With Manziel watching as the No. 3 quarterback, Davis went 7 of 10 for 77 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown to Travis Benjamin. He finished 21-of-38 passing for 212 yards and a touchdown without an interception for a rating of 80.2.

“Really good job by him”, center Alex Mack said after the game.

Without leader Joe Flacco – who’s sidelined with a season-ending injury – the birds managed to pull this one off and go to 4-7 on the year. “Tough for a two-minute drive, made a couple plays, was able to come in on very short notice”.

Pettine said he would “take everything into consideration” when deciding which quarterback starts.

-RUSHING OFFENSE: C-minus: The game was tight for most of the second half, but still the Browns posted only 18 carries and never broke a run longer than 10 yards. The play, like all scoring plays, was reviewed, and you’d have to think the National Football League looked at it before ruling the play a score.

This left the Browns needing only about 15-20 yards to get into field goal range to attempt their own game-winning field goal. Pettine said acquiring a third quarterback is “on the table for discussion”.
