Rob Gronkowski Injured As New England Patriots Lose To Denver Broncos

“This was a tremendous team win”, Osweiler said. The Peyton Manning-led Broncos appeared to be dying.

Gronkowski was in the locker room walking around as reporters entered but did not answer questions after the Broncos handed the Patriots their first loss of the season.

Denver (9-2) won it with 12:32 left in overtime, after Osweiler changed running plays at the line of scrimmage and gave it to C.J. Anderson, who ran around left end for a 48-yard touchdown and the win.

Though Osweiler is still working on his chemistry with some of the Broncos’ top receivers, most notably Demaryius Thomas, he heated up as the game went on. “He had our game plan with him”. We’re never trying to do something that would create penalties, and we certainly are going to try to do everything we can to eliminate those kind of penalties going forward, because they certainly come at big times in the game.

The Dolphins have a home game against the Ravens.

“I think if you sit there and dwell on it, it might be overwhelming”, he said.

Osweiler is taking advantage of his opportunity, at the expense of Manning. The next step, when he comes out of it, is to get back into the rehab process into the field.

“He could have been on the field”. Notes: Brady fell to 2-6 lifetime in Denver….

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski reportedly has no structural damage in his knee, and will be out a minimal amount of time. The Patriots led 21-7.

But the manner in which Sunday’s “very hard loss” unfolded, with several borderline holding calls against New England, and some non-calls in Denver’s favor, had Brady particularly annoyed Monday. “None of us did”.

A few weeks ago, not many people outside of Denver even knew who Brock Osweiler was.

That’s the point: there’s no drop-off with Osweiler. “We’re just in the driver’s seat right now”, Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher said.

It also means the world to Osweiler’s growth as a quarterback, suggested Harris. “And he’s learned that”.

“What does an official tell you in that situation?”.

That conviction is contagious, too. It was a check we had worked on in practice all week.

“Not that we want to be playing from behind, or not that we want to be playing from behind on the road, but whatever comes up comes up, and you’ve got to learn from it”. There’s things across the board that we need to do a better job of and we can do a better job of.
