Christie knocks Cruz, Rubio on experience issue

“When you have the world looking at us and would like to destroy us as quickly as possible, I err on the side of security”, he said. “50 cents in and voila”, Cruz, who attended Princeton University, said.
Yet Cruz on Monday suggested that Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton and other Democrats embraced the issue because they had no other way to rally voters. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, says Republicans waging a “war on women” is just “made up nonsense”. You’re trying to think: “‘How do I run?’ Well, you can’t run on the economy because we have the lowest percentage of Americans working any year since 1977”, the 44-year-old candidate analyzed.
Mitt Romney scoffed at the very idea, responding, “I don’t believe employers should tell someone whether they could have contraceptive care or not”.
The relatively new fight between Republican presidential contenders Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz has broken down along predictable lines, with each candidate attacking the other on their perceived weak points.
“New is great until you need experience – until the really tough moment comes”, Christie said in reference to Cruz and Rubio, both of whom are first-term senators. Cruz asked. “You go, ‘Ah, ha! I’m gonna make up a completely made-up threat and try to scare a bunch of folks into thinking someone’s going to steal their birth control.’ What nonsense”.
Cruz, who has avoided criticizing the two candidates who have led much of the race, Donald Trump and Ben Carson, is running as an anti-establishment candidate and hopes to gain if Trump and Carson fade.
This is a result of the anti-abortion movement’s quiet shift back toward anti-contraception policies, including their plans to close down Planned Parenthood, enact sweeping restrictions on health insurance for contraception and, increasingly, pass “personhood” measures that, if successful, could ban certain forms of contraception.
“Now, listen, I have been a conservative my entire life”, Cruz said.

Cruz has called for Congress to defund Planned Parenthood, which provides women with access to birth control and safe abortions as part of its range of reproductive services.
