The First Trailer for Captain America: Civil War is Here
There’s a lot to digest from the trailer (perhaps too much), and we’re sure the picture will clear up in the new year once Star Wars fever has subsided.

Chris Evans is back in the lead role as Captain America, while Robert Downey Jr.
The film is based on some of the concepts introduced by Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Wanted, The Kingsmen) in Marvel’s 2006 cross-over mini-series Civil War.
In addition to Evans and Downey, returning characters include fellow New Avengers War Machine (Don Cheadle), the Vision (Paul Bettany), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olson).
Civil War is the 13th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise and the third Captain America film.
We saw glimpses at what an Iron Man-Cap battle might look like in the first couple of “Avengers” movies, but this puts it into fifth gear. Also, keep an eye out for the latest hero, Black Panther, who makes a brief appearance in the trailer. Visually, it’s on par with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and continues the ongoing relationship with Bucky (Sebastian Stan).
While many fans were hoping for something similar to the comic book storyline of the same name, it seems that directors, Anthony and Joe Russo have made a decision to go a different direction with the plot. The movie comes out May 6, 2016.

The video was released on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday. After the high-octane action of The Winter Soldier, expectations are sky-high, so check out the trailer below and see what you think…
