“[Wayne Schneider] is on a watch-list for Australian police to follow up … and also follow up his friends in a gang”, Pattaya superintendent Sukthat Poompanmuang said.

The former member of Hells Angels had been beaten unconscious and kidnapped at gunpoint from his home in the back of a black Toyota Vigo about 5am Bangkok time on Monday, Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Schneider’s body was found in the Sattahip district south of Pattaya, police said yesterday, adding that cause of death has yet to be determined.

American National Tyler Joseph Fulton Sheen Gerard, 21, is being held police custody under suspicion of involvement in the kidnap and murder of Australian Hell’s Angel Wayne Schneider.

Photographs of the crime scene published by Thai media show bullets, an extendable baton, a watch and blood.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr Bagnato, who was reportedly drinking with Mr Schneider on Sunday night.

Security guards at the villa of Mr Schneider were quoted as saying they were warned to avoid the event by way of a guy using a firearm.

Pol Col Pairat Pukcharoen, chief of Sa Kaeo immigration police, said his agency had been working closely with Chon Buri immigration and Pattaya City police on the case to prevent suspects on the watchlist from escaping the country.

He had been arrested for drug trafficking, robbery, obstruction of justice and armed assault in Australia and was previously one of the most wanted men in NSW for his alleged role in the 2006 shooting of a Kings Cross bouncer.

PATTAYA – A missing former member of the Australian Hells Angels motorcycle gang was found buried early this morning.
