The State Department released 7,800 pages of emails from former secretary of state Hillary Clinton yesterday, and found among the mostly mundane communications were several Benghazi-related emails that appear to contradict Hillary Clinton’s testimony before the Select Committee on Benghazi.

But the attendees at the Hyatt on Monday largely reflected a wealthier Beltway crowd, many of whom paid $2,700 to enter the event.
But one particularly influential female Democratic senator didn’t join her colleagues: Sen.
Among the emails was apparent acknowledgement from Clinton, perhaps the world’s most important diplomat at the time, that her email and Blackberry device were down for two weeks following Hurricane Sandy, which slammed the northeast coast in October 2012. “Such anathema to us as Americans – and a painful reminder of how long it took modernism to take root in the U.S….”

Mrs. Clinton’s email messages are all being released publicly, while her aides’ messages won’t be released in full, but are being searched in response to dozens of open-records requests.

But the truth is there isn’t really all that much difference between Ms. Clinton’s promise to soak the top 3 percent and Mr. Sanders’ promise to get the money he needs from the “billionaire class”. In a significant policy switch, Clinton also announced her opposition to a massive Asia-Pacific trade deal she had promoted as secretary of state in President Barack Obama’s first term.
