Disney and Lucasfilm audition thousands in search for next Han Solo

Today we have word from Heat Vision Blog that casting is already under way for Disney and LucasFilm’s next adventure, the Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie, which is set for release on May 25, 2018. The 23-year-old admitted on Wednesday.’s Good Morning America in that he “bottled” his audition for The Force Awakens ’cause he could not keep in mind his lines.

Abrams was drawn into Star Wars by Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, who told him the story would focus on a young woman who would ask the question, “Who is Luke Skywalker?” China has become one of the biggest markets for movies over the last few years, even proving powerful enough to save films that absolutely floundered at the domestic box office – see Terminator: Genisys.

“They were very much like an old married couple to start with”.

“I didn’t have the imagination to recognize the future potential for the character”, he said, referring to his desire to want Han Solo dead at the end of “Star Wars: Episode VI – The Return Of The Jedi”. He continues, “I hate when I go and see a trailer and I feel like I’ve just seen a whole movie in an encapsulated form”. There was a knock at the door and someone shouted: “Where’s that walking carpet?’ It was Harrison”.

J.J. Abrams purposely sought out relative unknowns for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” but that doesn’t appear to be a prerequisite for everyone’s favorite intergalactic smuggler.
