SteamWorld Heist Launches on 3DS December 10th

Heist will usually cost £14.99/$19.99/€19.99, but will be available until 31st December for £11.99/$16.99/€16.99. While it’s not a direct sequel, Heist is set in the same universe as SteamWorld Dig and takes place hundreds of years after its events. Heist is a turn-based strategy game instead of a platformer. That gives me plenty of time to enjoy it. SteamWorld Heist launches for the Nintendo 3DS on December 10.

However, since it’s the holidays, we’re also throwing in a launch discount as a Christmas present to the marvelous 3DS community.

“Yeah, we know it’s too cheap for that much game, but that’s a whole other discussion”, Image & Form head honcho Brjann Sigurgeirsson said. Featuring anywhere between 20 to 25 hours of gameplay depending on player’s strategy, this combat game will have gamers taking over other spaceships for different resources. It is also penned in for a Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS Vita, and PC release sometime in the future.
