Wladimir Klitschko wants rematch with Tyson Fury
The 12-rounder burst into life in the seventh as Fury landed some decisive blows and in the ninth he caught Klitschko flush on the face with a big left hand punch. I feel good, not too sore, a little bit around the eyes and pain inside of my head but not too bad, to be honest, after a 12-round fight with the so-called best fighter on the planet.

Fury has vowed to be “the most charismatic champion since Muhammad Ali”= and has already carved out his own style of singing after victories. Then: “Why do we need to mention Deontay Wilder?”.
As is often the case with an exciting title fight, there’s speculation about a rematch between Fury and Klitschko. However, Fury landed more of the solid blows and his movement, so impressive throughout, never slowed down. “If Deontay Wilder wants a unification fight he’s going to have to wait, because Wladimir Klitschko has a round two – ding ding ding!”
“Wladimir deserves a rematch”, a clearly shocked and disappointed Vitali said of his brother at the post-fight presser.
“I’ve said some stupid things”, Fury said after winning the belt.
Klitschko, who drops to 69-4 with the defeat, admitted he had been surprised by the speed and dexterity of his 2.06m opponent and said he knew he needed a knockout to retain his crowns.
“I was very anxious waiting for the decision”, he said.
The 27-year-old Brit overcame the weight of history, overturned the bookies’ odds and defied the Ukrainian’s decade-long stranglehold on the heavyweight division to secure a memorable unanimous victory in Germany. Fury represented both Ireland and England at amateur level and won the ABA championship in 2008 before turning professional later that year. He’s named after heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, and his win Saturday fulfilled a prediction his father made shortly after his son was born. Let’s have a laugh at his name.
Fury ran across the ring towards Klitschko at the first bell, a bundle of nervous energy. Twenty-five fights now, three world title eliminators, so I earned my right to be here.

But Fury backed up his numerous pre-fight taunts and even sang “I’ll be the one with all the belts” to Klitschko last Wednesday when he modified the lyrics to Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath my Wings” – a prediction that came true.
