Klopp’s Liverpool eyeing Premier League trophy, says Milner

“He is fast in a special way and very, very good at shooting, something we have not seen here until now”. On Monday, Steven Gerrard returned to join in training, a day after they’d backed up their 4-1 win at Manchester City with an admittedly dicey victory over Swansea.

Liverpool have hit form at the right time ahead of a season-defining month with a first trophy possible under new manager Juergen Klopp, midfielder James Milner has said.

Crystal Palace’s win against Klopp’s side last month was an example of opponents deploying a relatively straight forward approach that involved making use of their pace on the flanks to hurt Liverpool.

Hummels’ wonderful displays has understandably earned the defender admiring glances from a host of top clubs around Europe but the German worldwide has remained loyal to Dortmund despite being offered some lucrative offers.

Sturridge has 44 goals in 71 games for Liverpool, and Redknapp says he is second only to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero in terms of Premier League strikers.

He has yet to find the net since Klopp took charge 10 games ago, but has shown he can work effectively within a unit.

Polish worldwide Blaszczykowski spent seven years under Klopp’s stewardship at Signal Iduna Park, winning a couple of Bundesliga titles and one German Cup as well as reaching the 2013 Champions League Final at Wembley. “Nobody else. Everyone else spent more money than they got in”.

He added: “We give as much information as we could, as we should”. He told us he wants us to have that feeling of going home after a game, sitting there and knowing you have done your job. “I think there would be no conflict were there to be interest in one of our players at some point”, he continued before stressing that not only would Klopp be a gentleman about it, but that there’d be no amusing business going on behind the scenes. The Reds captain went off having aggravated a heel injury in a 1-0 win against Bournemouth, only to later find that he had broken a bone in his foot.
