Klitschko calls for Fury rematch

Britain’s Tyson Fury knows the privileges that come with being No 1 in the world boxing heavyweight ranks. Fury claimed he was put down for the wrong weight at the weigh-in – 113 kilograms instead of 116 – was forced to wear gloves for the fight that didn’t fit him, and said the fight was nearly called off because there was too much foam under the canvas in the ring.

However, Wilder told BBC Radio Five live: “I want that fight to happen as soon as possible”.

The new world heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, is well known for his truly weird rants and antics. He also once again displayed his skills as an entertainer by singing a rendition of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” to his wife after taking the microphone from the legendary heavyweight Lennox Lewis. Luckily for me I had a good taste of German beer before, during and after the bout, to as my Publisher “Bad” Brad Berkwitt always says, “Fuggedaboutit” that I was watching in pain the heavyweights of today (and the past 15 years). “Everything is falling in our plan, our time and our planning for what we want to do”. I’m still Tyson Fury and I’m still going to go and get in an old Land Rover.

Klitschko has the option of a rematch but Joshua revealed he would be keen to take on Fury if the opportunity arose in 2016.

The Czar, having won an Olympic bronze medal in Beijing in 2008, is unbeaten in all 22 of his professional fights, winning 13 of them by knockout. Let’s laugh at his name, shall we?’ Fury said after seeing off Klitschko.

The Wythenshawe fighter shocked the world by defeating Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night in Dusseldorf with a unanimous points decision. Probably the pound-for-pound king, whatever that means.

‘So why would I be bothered about a novice like Wilder?

Fury said he had already encountered evidence of gamesmanship from Klitschko’s team during the bout.

“Dr. Steelhammer” was undefeated in over a decade and seemingly invincible before Fury inflicted a fourth-career loss and now has to take stock of his next move as talk of a second fight gathers pace.

“With Floyd Mayweather gone, Wlad took his place and I just took him out”.

Fury, at 2.06 meters some eight centimetres taller than his opponent, kept Klitschko at bay with the champion unable to unleash his lethal right and reduced to jabbing away with his left whenever he managed to get within striking distance and doing little damage. “I’m a true natural fighter”.

“Absolutely point-blank, I will say Haye will never get a chance after what he did to me”, he said in the Guardian.

Fury is not yet considering the prospect of a unification bout with American Wilder- holder of the WBC title
