Ford also mentioned the reason why he has chose to reprise his role as Han Solo in “Star Wars” despite him wanting to kill off the popular character before.

The strategy is different from Star Wars: the Force Awakens, as director J.J. Abrams wanted unknown actors to play the leads, as Daisy Ridley and John Boyega only had a few projects to their name, with Ridley’s resume containing only a few TV appearances.

Asked what it was like to walk onto the set and see Han’s old ship the Millennium Falcon again, he told Radio Times: “I’m not nostalgic”. They all look nerdy enough to begin with, then you add the fact that they’re robot and space-related and there’s virtual reality involved, and it’s like all the stars have aligned for the ultimate geeky gadget. “The opportunity to work with J.J. who I admire”.

“It just seemed like a good idea”, he said.

Harrison Ford admitted he has seen the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie and revealed why he has chose to returned to the franchise as Han Solo.

She said: “I came out [after the movie] and was like, ‘Yeah, I’m cool”. But he’s not looking to be praised for his new look, saying that “implies that I looked so terrible before!”

Speaking on Good Morning America, he said: “It’s so good”. Full of action, full of passion, and it’s quite emotional.
