The game was tied at 101-101 with 51 seconds left when Curry hit a 3-pointer from the left wing to give the Warriors the lead.

The Golden State Warriors (18-0) continue their game winning streak and still with an unblemished record.

On the previous play, Utah guard Rodney Hood missed a long three-point attempt with 5.9 seconds left – a shot that could have given the Jazz the lead. Utah took a 90-87 lead in the fourth quarter, but with the crowd on its feet, Curry checked back into the game with 6:36 left and immediately hit a game-tying 3-pointer. “Just because we are 19-0 doesn’t mean we can just show up and blow teams out and guarantee a win, we actually have to do something about it”.

“It’s great to see them doing what they’re doing, 11-0 and looking forward to a big playoff run and Super Bowl appearance”, said Curry, whose Warriors are 19-0. He finished with 25 points, while Al Horford added 21 points and 13 rebounds. The last time they played Golden State came out on top, bringing its SU record in the past 10 games to 7-3.

Aside from that, Green also contributed 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in last Friday’s 135-116 win against Phoenix. The rookie point guard scored 10 points on 3 for 11 shooting and had more turnovers (five) than assists (four) as his team fell 92-74 to the Bucks.

Which team stands the best chance of ending the Warriors streak? With the Warriors already drawing comparisons to the “96 Bulls that won 72 games, and the Sixers looking at the similarly lousy Lakers as a chance to break the spell, how do these teams” numbers look when they are compared to each other? “If we’re trying to do that, I think by and large we’ll be successful the majority of the time, and then shots either fall or they don’t”. Hood hit a mid-range jumper to pull Utah within one, and then a rare miss by Curry with 16 seconds remaining opened the door for Utah to steal the game. Klay Thompson added 20 points as well.

The special thing about these players is that they’re still so hungry and lacking any sign of a championship hangover whatsoever. They are tops in the league in points per game (115.8), field goal percentage (.491), assists per game (29.8), threes per game (13.2), three-point percentage (.429), point differential (+16), fast break points (22.1) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.85). If they can learn to finish them off, they will become a great team themselves.

Reggie Jackson scored 31 points, Andre Drummond had 24 with 13 rebounds and the Pistons (9-9) held off the visiting Rockets. They played well enough for over 47 minutes to put themselves one possession away from winning, but were ultimately unable to capitalize and close out the game.
