Okafor will miss Wednesday’s game at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks and Saturday night’s home game against the Denver Nuggets. It was reported that Okafor tried to use a fake I.D.to get served alcohol.
Last week, on Thanksgiving Eve, Jahlil Okafor was involved in a couple of fights with late-night revelers in Boston.

Okafor isn’t quite done owning his choices publicly though (and refusing to talk to reporters about them doesn’t seem like owning them, but I digress), because another one of them came out today.
Philadelphia attempted 30 3-pointers and made just nine, turning more toward a perimeter game without the 17.2 points per game Okafor provides.
As per philly.com, Okafor responded to the allegations and apologized for the incident. Decision-making hasn’t been Okafor’s strong suit lately, as he’s managed to repeatedly embarrass a team that’s on-court play – they are 0-18 – has been pitiful enough.
After the news of his fight broke, Okafor took responsibility for his actions. It’s a challenge. But as I said, I don’t look at it as a bad thing that this has just landed on all of us like a ton of bricks. The latest incident to come to light is that the former Duke University star was recently ticketed for driving 108 miles an hour over the Ben Franklin Bridge, where going over 40 miles an hour is considered reckless driving.

No charges were pressed against Okafor but the 76ers released a statement saying they were “working to gather additional information” before making further comments. “I feel like we got ahead of this story a few months ago trying to educate our guys and make ’em aware”.
