“We invaded Dusseldorf tonight” said the deeply religious Fury.

The challenger went into the bout full of confidence and insisted that he would be able to return home with the belts against a champion that he believed was in decline at 39 years of age.
WLADIMIR Klitschko will seek some quiet reflection before deciding his next move after being dethroned by new world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Manchester’s Fury, 27, pulled off one of the biggest upsets in heavyweight history, outpointing Klitschko and bringing his nine-year reign to an end.
He also comes form great boxing stock; John was a bare knuckle fighter and unlicensed boxer before becoming professional and he is a cousin of WBO Middleweight World Champion Andy Lee and heavyweight Hughie Fury.
“I’ll just say that we didn’t see much of Wladimir’s potential (against Fury)”.
A clause in Fury’s contract means there will definitely be a rematch but going on last nights evidence you would wonder whether Klitschko’s heart will be in it. By the time that fight comes around the Ukrainian will be 40.
“I never believed he would do it but he did”. He serenaded Klitschko with his own version of the Bette Midler song “Wind Beneath My Wings” on Wednesday, and he celebrated beating him by singing Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” in the ring to his wife Paris, who is expecting their third child.
The fight burst into life in the seventh round in a flurry of punches from Fury, who even put his fists behind his back at one stage, which left Klitschko’s cheek showing more signs of punishment and in clear trouble. “I’ll be the most charismatic champion since Muhammad Ali”. The American holds the WBC title that was vacated by Vitali Klitschko to concentrate on politics in 2013.
“I felt a lot more love from them (his fans) then I felt for him (Klitschko) from his”.
“He’s been a great champion, but every good dog has its day”, said Fury, named after heavyweight boxing great Mike Tyson. I congratulate him. He won the fight.
Fury once dressed as Batman and engaged in a wrestle with a man dressed as The Joker for a press conference stunt.

“We’ll soon work out when and where the rematch will take place and let you know”, he added. I should have thrown more right hands, but after throwing left hands, I couldn’t find the distance and land as many as I wished.
