It is really hard to know where to begin when cataloging all of the truly insane statements and conspiracy theories levied by radio host Alex Jones, who has talked about everything from how 9/11 and Oklahoma City were false flag operations to how juice turns kids gay and space lizards are running the world. Trump “largely demurred when Jones asked if it was time to try to toss Obama out of office”, according to Politico.

Jones asked if the hearings would make Obama a martyr, and Trump agreed before pivoting away to say that he was most angry at Republicans for failing to fulfill their promises to voters. Trump, in return, praised Jones.
Aside from the line of question on Trump being a Clinton operative, Jones made it clear that he’s a fan of Trump’s, and said that his 13-year-old son had gotten him to become an even bigger fan.

“Your reputation is awesome”, the billionaire-turned-politician told the conspiracy theorist, adding that “I won’t let you down”. Jones said he estimates that 90 percent of his audience are Trump supporters – an estimate, by the way, that is key to understanding why Trump would do this interview in the first place. “But I want to tell you they do one hell of a job and when you see these shootouts, I can tell you one thing – I don’t want to do it, and you don’t want to do it”.
