The London side are awaiting the results of a scan to determine the full extent of the injury.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic prepared his players for the Manchester United tie at Old Trafford on Saturday (December 5) by declaring the Red Devils are “not a boring team”.

Valencia completed the latest stage of his rehabilitation in his native Ecuador and he is expected to be back in action before the end of 2015. “It’s a good chance for the guys to step in”, Bilic said. Carroll has been used largely off the bench this season as he builds up his fitness following ankle surgery, memorably heading the victor as a substitute against Chelsea in October.

However, co-chairman David Sullivan insists they have an “unbreakable option” with Lanzini’s parent club and Bilic is confident West Ham will sign him permanently. “Andy has lifted our game when he’s come in for the last 20 or 30 minutes and now he needs to show that from the start”.
