Alligator wrestling match interrupts Florida golf game
It was a day to remember on a Florida golf course this past weekend, not because of a hole-in-one, but a wildlife wrestling match that caused quite a stir.

Goliath, the monster alligator that frequents the golf course at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, crawled back onto the fairway, this time to wrestle a smaller, less fortunate gator.
There, on the 4th hole, two gators were duking it out. Sarels quickly grabbed her camera and filmed the fight. The alligators, each at least ten foot long, were seen fighting right on the green in Florida.
‘I got a little nervous then because I had never seen that before, ‘ witness Kathy Dee told WFLA.
The photos of the melee spread fast and went viral online after they were shared to the golf course’s Facebook page.
“We’re standing up there and we just turned and looked and there they were”, said Lynn Sarles, who saw the attack. Golfers wanting to tee off were left waiting about 10 minutes until the fight finished.
Ultimately, the smaller gator cut his losses and walked away.
