Suspects Identified in San Bernardino Shooting
Suspects: San Bernardino, California, police identified Syed Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, as the two suspects in Wednesday’s shooting at the Inland Regional Center, which provides services for developmentally disabled people.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations – a nationwide advocacy organization – condemned the “horrific and revolting attack” in San Bernardino, California, and offered “heartfelt condolences” to families of the victims.
A search team combed the residence early Thursday in neighboring Redlands, about 7 miles from the shooting at Inland Regional Center.

The San Bernardino shooting is the latest in a long series of US mass shootings during Obama’s seven years in office, and is the deadliest since the December 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, which he has said was his toughest day as president.
Investigators say he left the event but returned with Malik a short time later.
The couple are believed to be the only shooters, and while the motive remained unclear, Burguan said, “we have not ruled out terrorism”.
Davis says California requires paperwork when guns change hands privately but many other states don’t.
“They came prepared to do what they did, as if they were on a mission”, Burguan said.
SWAT officers stake out in the surrounding streets to search for the suspects. Public records show it is a possible residence of a Farook family member. A third person was seen fleeing the scene and is being detained during investigation.
Farook and his wife left their 6-month-old girl with Farook’s grandmother Wednesday and said they had a doctor’s appointment. The device consisted of three connected pipe bombs with a remote control that apparently did not work.
“The one thing we do know is that we have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world, and there’s some steps we could take, not to eliminate every one of these mass shootings, but to improve the odds that they don’t happen as frequently”, Obama told CBS.

The young parents did not return to get their daughter for several hours, however, and their family became anxious when they could not reach them after seeing reports on the news about the shooting. He said that in addition to the guns that the shooters were carrying, they “appeared to have access to additional weaponry at their homes”.
