Police and Shin Bet security service agents recently arrested multiple Jewish terror suspects who may have been involved in the fatal firebombing of the Dawabsha family home in the Palestinian village of Duma, officials said Thursday.

The wake of the attack brought a crackdown on Jewish extremists in the West Bank, known as Hilltop Youth, and the use of administrative detention, in which suspects are arrested and held without charge, against Jewish terror suspects.
The attack in the northern West Bank village of Duma o 31 July killed 18-month-old Ali Dawabshe.
Ali Dawabsheh, a toddler, died, while his mother and father later died of their wounds.
Another son, four-year-old Ahmed, is still being treated for his wounds.
The attack led to widespread condemnation globally as well as by Israelis and Palestinians, but no one has been charged for the killings.
Since mid-September, Palestinians have killed 19 Israelis in stabbings, shootings and vehicular attacks.
It did not say how badly the soldier and bystander were wounded, but Jerusalem’s Hadassah hospital said it was treating a seriously-injured man who had been shot in the upper torso in the incident. He did not elaborate or provide a motive for the attack. The rest died in clashes with Israeli security forces.
The demolitions are a part of a series of punitive measures being carried out by the Israel to “deter” future attacks. He was shot dead at the scene.

Tensions have also been stoked by disputes over access to a Jerusalem holy site revered by Jews and Muslims and other issues at the heart of the now-frozen Israeli-Palestinian peace process, from failed negotiations to Israeli settlements on occupied land that Palestinians seek for a independent state. The military identified the man as Raeb Ahmed Muhammad Alivi, in his late 30s.
