Ferdinand: United will monitor Neville at Valencia – Ferdinand
“I am very excited and feel very proud to have received this great opportunity with Valencia”, Neville told the club’s website. “This is a huge club of vast prestige and it has reminded me of my time as a player, of the great passion and loyalty of their fans”.

“I am aware of the tradition of Valencia and how they play… and I will work now to appraise the players that I have here”, said Neville.
“I’ve been asking advice, when we’re going to train, detailed information about the players. I’m confident we can move forward together”.
Neville has stepped down from his position as a pundit for Sky Sports with immediate effect and will officially take charge of his new team on the 6th of December.
Neville was surprisingly named as the new manager at the La Liga side on Wednesday, signing a deal until the end of the season after Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked last month.
Flores, who began his playing career as a full-back at Valencia, said: “I love the club, I grew up there”.
Hodgson welcomed the move and said: “I’m delighted that Gary has made a decision to take this excellent opportunity”.
The former Manchester United right-back, 40, will continue his coaching role with England but is expected to put his Sky Sports punditry work on the back-burner in the meantime, which appears to have hit his partner hard…
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher used to be embittered rivals for more than a decade as Manchester United and Liverpool battled it out. Interim coach Salvador Gonzalez, with Gary’s brother Phil Neville as his assistant, will oversee Saturday’s clash against league leaders Barcelona.
Neville will be presented at a news conference on Thursday.
The Singapore billionaire also holds a stake in Salford’s Hotel Football, a venue built adjacent to Old Trafford and owned by the same “class of ’92” ex-United stars.

Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has put his weight behind Gary Neille to succeed as a manager. Neville is Valencia’s sixth manager since Unai Emery left in 2012. People go to coach in Australia, the UAE, USA, England or Spain.
