OnePlus 2 Goes Invite-Free ‘Forever’
Customers who are still looking to buy a OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X to have it delivered by Christmas will need to do so before the end of play on 7 December.

The startup smartphone manufacturer used the invite system as a way for consumers to buy its devices so that it could “scale its operations” to meet demand, but beginning on December 5, the OnePlus 2 will be invite-free forever. That restriction is briefly being lifted during a three-day holiday sale, from December 5 through December 7, mirroring the open sale over the Black Friday weekend.
Download the Gadgets 360 app for Android and iOS to stay up to date with the latest tech news, product reviews, and exclusive deals on the popular mobiles. Anyway, as already pointed out, the smartphones didn’t manage to impress, so that’s why the invite system is now off. Yep, you’ll be able to buy a OnePlus 2 and its wrong-direction-mute-switch without a wait or the need to vote for “hot or not” girls on forums.
OnePlus has made this decision as part of its second anniversary celebrations. Pei said that the company is also offering a sale on some accessories for the holiday season.
After that, the OnePlus X will be available for purchase without an invite during open sales sessions held once a week. A limited number of first orders will also receive a mousepad with the company’s motto, “Never Settle”.

“Over the past two years, we’ve worked hard to make changes that improve the total experience for our fans”, OnePlus spokesperson Eric Zarshenas tells TrustedReviews.
