The 48-year-old Baywatch star (and now, mother of two) will be featured on the mag’s January/February 2016 cover, and, according to Entertainment Weekly, was hand-picked by none other than the original playboy, Hugh Hefner.

Hef gets what he wants, but it’s because Pamela has Playboy to thank for her incredible career.
Pammie told press, “I got a call from [Hugh Hefner’s] attorney who said, ‘We don’t want anybody else”. Phwoar. The previous Baywatch babe was frightened about shooting another Playboy cover after her sons Brandon, 19, & Dylan, 17, teased her for years of time of time, still they lastly gave her their blessing. “I never wanted to be in this industry; I didn’t know that option existed for me”, says Anderson.
“I thought, ‘My gosh, I miss the Playboy days!’ It was so glamorous, it was so chivalrous, there’s so many people there that were so smart…”
“I was wearing a Labatt Blue T-shirt, and Labatt ended up giving me a commercial”, she reminisced. “So when Hef asked, I couldn’t help myself”.
The images were shot by Ellen Von Unwerth at the famous Playboy Mansion. “I mean, I’m sure they’re sick of me”. “I try and live my entire life as honestly as I can”. She has come a long way since her first shoot, saying, “The photographer shot me in one roll of film because I was nervous and throwing up”. These projects are more character driven and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. She recalled that Brandon told her, “We’re older, we’re not embarrassed anymore of you”. You need to be on the big screen.’ I couldn’t believe he said that. “The reality that I am on his radar is actually flattering”.

Additionally, the Hollywood star divulged intimate memories of her years with the legendary publication to her acting colleague and magazine contributor James Franco. It will continue to publish “sexy, seductive pictorials” of women, including its iconic Playmates, but they will not be nude.
