Peterson wins NFC Offensive Player of Month award
Adrian Peterson has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November.

The Minnesota rushing attack is ranked first in the league, while the Seattle run defense is only ranked fifth.
There is no honor in a professional sports team tanking a season, but that might be the best-case scenario for St. Louis.
“I just come in and try to focus on doing my job and helping my team win”, Peterson said.
In November 2012, he gained 182 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns in the Vikings’ 30-20 loss at Seattle.
The MVP award is just that, the league’s most valuable player. “That’s what defenses do not like”, fullback Zach Line said. “It probably is [hard] at first, but you just have to buy into the system”. It has blown fourth-quarter leads in all five of its losses this season. You saw that on his long run [at Atlanta].
In the fourth quarter last weekend against Pittsburgh, Earl Thomas didn’t fully trust.
Peterson has averaged 110 yards rushing in three career games against the Seahawks. Peterson’s performance propelled the Minnesota Vikings to a 4-1 record in November.
“They were five great years for me (with the Vikings), growing up as a young coach in the league”, Carroll said. They set the goal again against the Falcons and finished with 191.
“We’re a defense that wants to impose our will on teams”, he explained. Bridgewater has two passing touchdowns in his last four games. If they can do this, the Seahawks will likely walk away with a win. It was the 48 career game in which he’s rushed for more than 100 yards.
Stefon Diggs has emerged as the star in the Vikings’ receiver stable. It’s getting better. We keep putting together wins. “So it’s going to be a nice challenge for us, and I’m looking forward to playing against a good defense”. Sometimes people feel like, it’s just a bunch of emotions and feelings involved, but the quicker we can get back to the ones that we need, that’s the best that we can do.
Peterson did that coming off a season-ending torn ACL and MCL.
“It really is about the team”. “I feel like I was in Roethlisberger’s mind”. “Those guys go in there and they’ve got to block safeties all the time and corners”.
Behind them, Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks have shown well in coverage, which will limit how much Seattle can do with the middle of the field. “I’ll be able to look at those things after the fact”.
Zimmer mentioned the appreciation he has for Peterson in the lead up to the Falcons game. Not waking up at 8 o’clock every day, 7 o’clock every day, to get ready for work. I just find the entire Peterson situation particularly disconcerting. Its 144.2 rushing yards per game ranks second in the NFL.
Conventional wisdom says that 30-year-old backs aren’t supposed to be leading the league in rushing in December.
