Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan, who is in the thick of a controversy over his remarks on intolerance, has no plans to move his wife and son out of Mumbai for a few days out of concern over their safety, according to a source close to the actor. In his micro-blogging page, RGV writes,”If Aamir, Sharuk and Salman the three biggest stars of the Hindu country “India” are Muslims, I don’t understand where intolerance is?” She fears what the atmosphere around us will be. While speaking at the awards show, he spoke about growing “intolerance” and he said about the number of incidents where he and his wife Kiran Rao chose to leave the country. Many criticized for saying that he stand by his words, even after so much rivalry has been taking place in the country, against him. “To all the people shouting obscenities at me for speaking my heart out, it saddens me to say you are only proving my point, ” he added.

To all the people who have stood by me, thank you.

According to The Hindu, a complaint was registered at a court in Kanpur on Wednesday by advocate Manoj Kumar Dixit, who argued that the actor’s remarks on intolerance in India had created a sense of fear within the society and promoted the idea that India was an “insecure” nation.

He further said that, he does not need anyone’s permission to stay in India, as it is his country.
