Your weekend starts here: Packers seek redemption against Lions
Detroit started off poorly but apparently needed a rest week because after their bye week in week 9, they have gotten hot by winning their last three games.

The Lions are finding their legs with three wins in a row after a 1-7 start and the Packers are threatening to bottom out with disheartening losses – including as double-digit favorites at home to Detroit – bumping Green Bay to second place in the NFC North. If the number stays below a field goal, then obviously oddsmakers respect the sharp money that is being laid on Detroit.
This is the second time the two teams have played in the last four games. If the Packers are going to beat the Lions, they need to establish running back Eddie Lacy, who didn’t play in the earlier matchup, so Rodgers won’t have to throw 61 times again.
Green Bay has rushed 14 times for just 17 yards.
While Detroit is on a three-game winning streak, the Packers have lost four of five since starting out 2015 at 6-0.
“We lean to Green Bay although we tip our hats to the Lions”, said Marshall (goldsheet.com).

Stafford completed 66 percent of his passes for 861 yards with seven touchdowns – including a career-high matching five last week – with only one interception when Detroit defeated Green Bay on the road for the first time since 1991 and beat Oakland and Philadelphia at home. Lacy missed the game against Detroit last month and has had some problems fumbling, but I’m going to bet he doesn’t have those problems tonight. Brian Bulaga, TJ Lang, and Cory Linsley are all listed as questionable for Thursday nights game.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford is 11-of-16 passing for 99 yards and touchdown passes to Eric Ebron and Calvin Johnson – and, most importantly, he has no picks. Adams needs to step up if the Packers are going to make the run that looked so certain back in October. Saints coach Sean Payton said this week that no other cornerback is having a better season than Carolina’s Josh Norman, who has emerged as a shutdown corner and Defensive Player of the Year candidate. Starks has rushed for 429 yards this season and can be strong change of pace running back with Lacy. On defense, shut down the run and keep an eye on Johnson.
