Clinton promotes $275B infrastructure plan during Florida visit

Florida will play a critical role in the general election and the state has been kind to the Clintons in the past.

Florida’s moderate leanings are well suited to the Clinton’s traditional brand of centrist politics.

To make matters worse for Clinton, before she announced the date, she looked down at the podium to check her prepared speech.

Second, Mr. Sanders embodies a pure play candidate for a progressive populist agenda that has powerful and, I would argue, majority support from American voters.

“Florida is so much a symbol of America – diverse, dynamic, optimistic”, Clinton said. “Actually being involved in the community and it’s very important because we are the largest swing state”, added Gaitan. Of the respondents, 672 were Republicans, while 573 identified as Democrats.

In the head-to-head pairings, Sanders “does just as well, or even better, against top Republicans” than Clinton, according to Douglas Schwartz, the Quinnipiac poll director. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida by name for proposing big cuts in highway funding. “How will she pay for it all?” the GOP asks.
