Fury calls Klitschko camp ‘cheats,’ feared he’d be drugged

There is a rematch clause in the contract between Fury and the 39-year-old Klitschko, and the beaten champion – who had his first loss in almost 10 years – has said: “It’s to be continued”.

“We know the cheats, these people are extremely good at cheating”, Fury said at his press conference in Bolton on Monday attended by his dad, John Fury, uncle and trainer, Peter Fury with a reserved place for late Hughie Fury.

“If the opportunity presents itself and it was the right opportunity, we would definitely take the fight”.

“I thought then that I never want my kids to go through that”. “There was a lot of dancing going on, I guess it was a dance competition rather than a fight”. Klitschko showed that he is utterly clueless at cutting off the ring, and won’t cut loose with his right hand, perhaps the biggest single power shot in professional boxing, unless his target is stationary or moving into him.

Fury polarizes opinion out of the ring, but there’s general agreement – especially after Saturday’s fight – that the guy can box. “Absolutely point-blank, I will say Haye will never get a chance after what he did to me”.

“If it was tomorrow, I could beat him”, Wilder recently told Forbes regarding Klitschko.

“I don’t care if he says I can make £10m, it’s not about money for me”. Let him fight the next challenger. The only reason he wanted to back in 2013 was that he was going to get £5m out of the situation. He’s just very lucky to have been in with a fighter like Wladimir Klitschko who has gone back physically as a fighter. There’s always been an interest there.

“I want that fight to happen as soon as possible”, Wilder said.

Unbeaten Whyte from London knocked down and defeated Joshua in the amateurs and the bitter blood has grew ever since and this fight will go some way to putting that beef to bed one way or another.

“I underachieved. I could have been better, but I got used”. That means Joshua is going to need to somehow beat Whyte, and I’m not sure that he can do that.

Nevertheless, the pair’s long rivalry and ongoing war of words make it hard to rule out a meeting between them in the future-but only if Haye can prove himself once again over several fights after three years without a match.
