Pedan is just 22 years old and has only appeared in one game for the Canucks so far this season. He has eight points in 16 games this season, his first in Vancouver after being acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins in the off-season.

Still Miller was fantastic, finishing with 30 saves, and the Canucks tied the game in the third period, forcing Patrick Sharp to play the hero when he scored with 5:59 remaining for the game-winning goal.
