As the news broke, PIA authorities initiated an investigation into the matter and ascertained that Reham Khan had entered the cockpit of the plane. According to the pilot’s statement to the administration, he had “entertained” the request of Reham Khan to sit in the cockpit. “It will take appropriate disciplinary action against the pilot in light of the inquiry’s findings”, the spokesman said. “Although it appears to be courtesy on the part of the pilot but the PIA can not ignore the rules”.
Interestingly, the PIA officials also accorded Reham Khan a warm welcome at the Lahore airport.
But after separation, Reham does not like even to stay in the hotel where her former hubby Imran Khan had a booking.
Members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, whose chief is Imran, had expressed concern over Reham’s participation in politics after which Imran announced she will neither contest elections on a party ticket nor will attend any party gatherings.
Reham said she was happy on her return to the country and added that she would resume her professional life as a journalist in next few days without wasting any more time.
Reham, who was born in Libya to Pakistani parents, has three children from her previous marriage to a doctor.
