Burguan said that a dozen pipe bombs, tools for making explosives, and thousands of 9-millimeter handgun and.223-caliber assault rifle rounds were all found at the location.

Malik and Farook were married two years ago and had a 6-month-old baby, according to Hussam Ayloush, head of the Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group.

Farook had been at the party and left “under some circumstances that were described as angry”, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan told reporters Wednesday night.

The mass shooting during a holiday party at Inland Regional Center on Wednesday in San Bernardino, California, is the deadliest since the 2012 incident at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
Federal agents have traced the origins of the four guns recovered from the suspects, at least two of them bought legally, according to the New York Times.
An imam at the local mosque that Farook attended denied that and said there was no indication he held extremist views. Authorities did not say how the rifles got into the attackers’ hands.
The year before, in 2013, Kuko said, Farook told him about a Pakistani woman living in Saudi Arabia whom he hoped to marry, and he asked for Kuko’s blessing. “That was a hard choice to have to make as well, passing people we knew were injured and in need of assistance, but our goal at that time had to be trying to locate the shooters and deal with them”, he stated.

Farhan Khan, who is married to Farook’s sister, said he last spoke to him about a week ago. Kuko said he heard Farook moved to Redlands, but it was unusual that someone would have left without saying goodbye.
“I think we can do more to keep our families safe”, said Stephanie Grabow.

In the aftermath of the shooting, the men said they are now concerned about the safety of themselves and others who pray at Dar-Al-Uloom Al-Islamiyah.
