Rodgers recalls Favre the Prankster (AUDIO)

Rodgers hopes to get a moment with Starr and Favre, possibly before the nationally televised game.

Defensively, the Bears probably wish they could have played Peyton Manning this week, as Brock Osweiler filled in admirably in his first career start. As predicted, they would try and get him involved in this one.

Little attention will be given to the Bears’ performance in this game as the focus turns to the Mannning vs. Osweiler debate, but this is a disappointing home loss in a game that looked like it could firmly put the Bears in the playoff conversation.

It’s highly possible that Sunday’s demolition of San Francisco is the beginning of Seattle’s revival for a second straight season.

Were the Bears 5-6 with five games to play, you could dream of a playoff berth; the remaining games are against the 49ers, Redskins, Vikings, Buccaneers and Lions, after all.

They had a banner day against Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater, holding AP to under 50 yards rushing and putting Bridgewater on the turf six times, keeping him under duress all day.

A frustrated Peterson pointed out the Vikings mistakes Sunday, such as their eight penalties for 110 yards.

The Vikings got within six when Peterson caps off a brilliant drive by Bridgewater, Peterson taking it the final six yards, and it was 19-13, that is, until Rodgers has answer.

The loss moved the Vikings and Green Bay into a tie atop the NFC North (and gave Green Bay a one-game advantage in the head-to-head, tie-breaker matchup).

As always, leading the Packers was franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers who completed 16 of 34 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns, also getting sacked twice. LINE: Packers -10. O/U: 47ABOUT THE BEARS (4-6): Chicago has been dealing with key injuries on offense all season, and running back Matt Forte (knee) and wide receivers Alshon Jeffery (groin) and Eddie Royal (knee) are again questionable.

And while this game is an important one for the Packers in their quest for an NFC North title and a 14th NFL Championship, it is also the events surrounding it that will make it memorable.

The Packers are 11-0 SU in their last 11 games after an ATS win. “I don’t think we’re in a situation right now where we can pick and choose who we want to win and who we wanna lose to”.

The defending division champs got healthy in a dominating 30-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Even with the recent price decline, his tickets still cost hundreds of dollars a piece, but he knows the price for this game is worth the admission.

Lacy had rushed for all of 78 yards in 33 carries in his previous four games. 500 or better, including potential wild card competitors Seattle and Atlanta.

To help us preview this epic Bears vs Packers Thanksgiving night showdown, we’ve enlisted the help of our old “frenemy” Ray Rivard of Lombardi Ave to help us out with our weekly Five Questions. They have played some good games and beat the teams they are supposed to beat, but in the next few weeks we will see who the real Vikings are.
