New Legends of Tomorrow Poster Proclaims ‘Their Time Is Now’

He ominously adds that “that is what I’m taking away from you”.

“It’s definitely going to come to a head in the middle of the season”, confirms executive producer Wendy Mericle, keeping mum on details. “Stop, I can not hear another lie”, she tells Oliver, as their world crumbles.

One of the biggest plot points on “The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover event had to do with the return of Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) ex-girlfriend Samantha Clayton (Anna Hopkins). We then find out rather quickly that that pawn is not for sale, which certainly sets [Damien] off and makes [him] do some really horribly, dark things. It’s been a pretty good season for her, as she ended up with Oliver, headed up the tech side of Team Arrow and even ended up with her own multi-billion dollar company. But an appearance by Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen (aka The Flash) suggests the person swimming in the soil is not only known to both of them, but close to the superheroes.

While all The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl showrunners have provided similar answers to this question before, it’s interesting to note that Kreisberg notes they haven’t even started to explore the possibility of whether they can make a crossover work between two networks. Now it’s hard not to wonder who will be affected this time – and which show. Could it be Felicity’s grave Oliver and Barry were standing over at the beginning of the fourth season?

The second time around, the group was able to stop Vandal Savage by working together (as opposed to Oliver, Barry, Kendra and Carter trying to do it themselves and failing), but the final scene showed that the fight with the immortal is far from over.

Legends of Tomorrow premieres Thursday, January 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.

Finally, as seen in the concluding minutes (when Malcolm gathered Savage’s ashes) the villain’s story is not over.

“Arrow” and “The Flash” did a lot of preparation for the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” cast for introducing characters such as The Atom, Captain Cold, Firestorm, Sara Lance, Hawkman and Hawkgirl and also with its recently released extended trailer.
