At the end of the day, whether the Broncos decide to go back to Manning or not, it’s clear that the Osweiler era is ready to begin, and it’s here faster than a lot of us expected. I look forward to being healthy yesterday. He will start rehabbing on Saturday.

Manning was mercifully pulled after throwing four interceptions in a loss to the Chiefs in which he incidentally broke the NFL’s all-time passing yardage mark. Osweiler said that has never been discussed with him either. Aside from the 2011 season, which he missed entirely due to a neck injury, this is the first time he has ever missed any games in his National Football League career. It’s obviously hard not being out there. “… But while I’m not, I try to do whatever I can to help. I’m focused on being a good teammate, doing whatever I can while playing quarterback to get a win this Sunday”. “He did say there’s no immediate, quick or magic fix or can’t guarantee you this – that’s why we’re kind of going one week at a time”.
He’ll let everyone one else speculate about his football mortality, though.
“This is when “they” and “sources” seem to show their heads a little bit… But I haven’t thought much more than about trying to get healthy”.
