Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had the walking cast removed from his left foot on Wednesday and will wear a walking boot for several days before returning to full-time rehab this weekend.

The New England Patriots issued a statement on Tuesday regarding the condition of tight end Rob Gronkowski’s right knee, saying his playing status is week to week after suffering a bone bruise/sprain during Sunday night’s game in Denver.

They topped that number in their overtime win against New England, rushing for 179 yards and three touchdowns on a snow Sunday night despite falling behind the previously unbeaten Patriots by two touchdowns.
Kubiak said last week that he was concerned about the hits Osweiler has taken in such a short time. And I think that we try to make sure that we’re not the one that’s pushing or shoving or shoving or trying to move the defender in any way that’s illegal.
