Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis unlikely to play vs. Giants
Revis got a concussion when the Jets played the Houston Texans.

Jets coach Todd Bowles doesn’t believe Revis will play.
“He’s a challenge even if we had them”, Bowles said of not having Revis and likely not Williams.
THE FIRST ONE: It was a preseason game, but it was a big one between the teams – who both still played in NY back then – on August 17, 1969, at the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut.
Left guard Justin Pugh just returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the past two games with a concussion. Getting the ball to Beckham affords them their best opportunity.
Beckham has caught 72 passes for 1,005 yards and nine touchdowns.
“It plays into my advantage”, Beckham said.
If the second-year pro isn’t the best receiver in the game right now, he’s on a list about as short as the one featuring those who think whatever is sitting on Donald Trump’s head is flattering. The Jets have first-round draft picks Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams on their defensive line, along with Damon Harrison, who has the best run stop percentage among all defensive tackles at 16.9 percent. They will need to find a replacement in the secondary as Revis was supposed to be matched up with the Giants number one receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Zwiebach lives in New York City with his wife and two kids, who without fail manage to block his view of the TV whenever a game-changing play occurs. “I’ll test it and we’ll see what happens”, Pace said.
The Giants are 4-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games, and 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record. “But there are guys in front of him that are game-ready, too, so he’s just got to wait his turn”. Mehta stated that he got burned by DeAndre Hopkins and that his age and lack of athleticism would be no match for the younger and superior athletic Beckham. “If not, Trevor Reilly will do a good job”. “We’ve still got to play the Jets”.
The only question is whether Manning will have enough time to throw to Beckham.
Rueben Randle has 40 catches for 511 yards and four touchdowns, Dwayne Harris has 27 receptions for 332 yards and four TDs and running back Shane Vereen has 40 catches for 342 yards and three scores.
Like i said, the Jets can be beat. “All their guys are capable guys. It’ll be a good matchup”.
Without Revis, the Jets turned to Marcus Williams, but he also suffered an injury this past week, straining his MCL. Manning threw three interceptions in his last game, and the Jets want to make him feel uncomfortable again.

As long as Tom Coughlin has been coaching the Giants, Big Blue has had the upper hand against Gang Green in these games. “That’s something that as a football player, that’s my instincts going out there, just to play the way I’ve always played, be aggressive, and I’m never not going to play that way”.
