All fatal San Bernardino shooting victims identifiedFarook, 28, was an American citizen, while Malik, 27, was in the United States on a Pakistani passport and had a K1 “Fiance” Visa, according to David Bowdich, assistant director of the Los Angeles FBI office.
Thalasinos, who was described as outspoken in his condemnation of the terror group ISIS and radicalized Islam in general, had worked at the Cape May County health department before moving to California about 10 years ago, friends said.
Citing U.S. officials, CNN and the Associated Press reported that Tashfeen Malik posted the pledge on a Facebook page that was made under a different name.
USA law enforcement officials said they are investigating the December 2 shooting at a California social services agency that killed 14 people and wounded 21 others as an act of terrorism.
Since the segment aired, CNN has since reported on developments regarding the suspects of Wednesday’s deadly attacks.
An attorney for the Farook family told reporters on Friday that the gunman’s relatives said he’d been teased about his beard by colleagues.
The couple, who had been married for two years and had a six-month-old daughter, was armed with an array of firearms and ammunition, as well as homemade pipe bombs during the attack.
Officials are trying to understand the motives of the killers behind the shootings earlier this week and are scouring every detail of their lives, including a very large volume of electronic evidence that they tried to destroy and hide, he said. Insisting Malik is only “ninety pounds”, Chelsey said “it doesn’t seem plausible to us that this petite woman would be involved in this sort of hyper-caricatured, Bonnie and Clyde insane scenario”.
Authorities believe that at least one of them had been in contact with suspected Islamic extremists, Bowdich said.
“The FBI is leading this investigation because of the possibility that this is a terrorist attack”, White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters. The Muslim couple were killed hours later in a gunbattle with police.
Malik had been living in Saudi Arabia before marrying Farook two years ago. Even those who worshipped at her husband’s mosque say they don’t know what she looked like.
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan also said there is no active threat to the community after reports that a person was seen photographing a local movie theater and a “Middle Eastern” man questioned a security guard about movies at the same venue.

In excerpts of the interview released Friday, Khan expressed disbelief that Farook would leave behind his infant girl and said he was angry with Farook for the attack.
