San Bernardino Shooting: Officer Tells Evacuees ‘I’ll Take A Bullet Before You

After Wednesday’s mass shooting in San Bernardino, video surfaced from what is believed to be the inside the Inland Regional Center, showing a law enforcement officer leading a group of people out of the building.

Once the scene was cleared, those inside were led to safety and the officer reassured the employees by saying: “I’ll take a bullet before you do”.

Authorities have released the names of all 14 people killed in Wednesday’s mass shooting in San Bernardino.

So far, not everything is known, but CNN has confirmed that one male and one female suspect have been killed in a shootout with police.

Local and state agencies mobilized planes and helicopters to search for the SUV. KPCC spoke to Velasco’s uncle, George Velasco, who said she was “an intelligent, motivated, and attractive young woman, who was full of life and loved by all who knew her”.

A San Bernardino native, Madden said he had to pass by wounded victims as officers tried to find the shooters.
