Clinton repeats call for gun control after mass shooting
Hillary Clinton is issuing a fresh plea for stricter gun control after a mass shooting at a social service facility in southern California, saying that no parent should have to worry about being killed at a holiday party.

The Democratic presidential hopeful noted that President Barack Obama had spoken earlier today about the potential the shooting is a terrorist act.
Authorities need to finish their investigation, Clinton said, but she added that the situation “raises serious questions” about how Americans should be protected and how to ensure that the USA has the best possible intelligence. During her remarks, the candidate tweeted “We can not go on with losing 90 people a day to gun violence…We need to take action now”. “No one should have that basic sense of safety and security ripped away from them”.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign swung through Dover, New Hampshire on Thursday evening, holding a town hall with a cozy, but full crowd inside a downtown gymnasium. The couple carried two.223-caliber rifles and two pistols, all of which were purchased legally, according to San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan.
“I don’t know exactly what it would have or could have prevented”, she said. She said the fight must also occur online, given the sophisticated use of the Internet by extremist groups.
“It’s important to remember … the vast majority of Muslim-Americans are just as concerned and heart-broken about this as anyone else”, Clinton said.
Republicans, in turn, said Clinton’s nod to gun control was misplaced.
“Just what will it take for Congress to overcome the intimidation of the gun lobby and do something as sensible as making sure people on the terrorist watch list can’t buy weapons?” “The San Bernardino shooting was the 355th mass shooting this year”.
Aides said that Sanders had not reached a judgment over whether Emanuel acted improperly, but Sanders’s statement seemed a clear attempt to set himself apart from Clinton, whose campaign this week voiced support for Emanuel, a former top aide to President Bill Clinton.
“I believe that she is actually talking about it and she’s talking about change that can be done on an executive level that hasn’t been done”, she said.

“She says she’s for labor and labor-friendly and wants to spend all this money on infrastructure and stuff”, he said. Recently at a campaign stop in Boulder, she met with family members of some of those killed in shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Columbine High School and in Aurora.
