As new information unfolds following the San Bernardino shooting, it’s been made scarily apparent that the attack was not only premeditated, but an intended act of terrorism.

The FBI is officially investigating the San Bernardino attack as an act of terrorism, citing “a number of pieces of evidence”.
Farook had attended the Christmas party at the Inland Regional Center on Wednesday morning but slipped out before returing with his wife.
Police do not reportedly have evidence that Malik or her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, were operating on direct orders from the terror organization.
FBI Los Angeles Assistant Director in Charge, David Bowdich, made the announcement during a news conference Friday. Comey specified that so far there is no indication the killers were part of an organized larger group or network while reiterating the investigation is in the early stages. “There was nothing to characterize to make him act in this manner”, Chelsey said. It is reasonably likely, Comey told reporters, that people did not report things they should have in this case.
Nor did they know that either of them had become radicalized, as law enforcement officials have said.
The daughter is under care of child protection services, but could be returned to the family with Farook’s brother-in-law attempting to adopt her.
“I think he married a terrorist”, Nwadike said.
Officials did not tell CNN how they discovered that she posted the pledge. Farook and Malik died after the attack in a shoot-out with police.
Investigators are reviewing the couples’ computers and cellphones to see if they had browsed jihadist websites or had contact with militant groups, according to officials in Washington familiar with the investigation.
She moved to Saudi Arabia with her father, an engineer, 25 years ago, they said.
When asked about the media tour of the attackers’ house at the press conference, Bowdich said: “We executed a search warrant on that apartment and last night we turned that over back to the residents”.
Farook, 28, had no criminal record and was not under scrutiny by local or federal law enforcement before the attacks. “We are completely estranged”, Anwaar said.
The officials did not explain how they knew Malik was responsible for the post, CNN reported. But the interactions they did have didn’t hint at any significant changes in their thinking or demeanor, any turn to Islamist extremism, or any sign they were plotting a mass killing, the lawyer said. “We never saw her again”.

Malik, who entered the United States on a fiancée visa, and Farook, the son of immigrant parents from Pakistan who had worked as a health inspector, were killed in a shootout with police just hours after the attack.
