Coldplay to perform at Super Bowl 50 halftime show
“In my show… everything goes through my eyes; I call all the shots, 100 per cent of it”, she told Elle magazine. Other more recent performers were Madonna (2012), The Black Eyed Peas (2011), and The Who (2010).

Coldplay will appear in a series of behind-the-scenes videos on Pepsi.com about the making of the Super Bowl halftime show, he said.
They revealed the news on Twitter, saying the show would reflect the past, present and the next 50 years ahead.
Last year, Katy Perry headlined the halftime show and brought out special guests Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz.
The Super Bowl is typically the country’s most-watched TV event of the year, so booking a performance slot is a big deal.
The Super Bowl will be a notable tour stop on the band’s forthcoming world tour. For the event’s first decade, marching bands from such universities as Grambling State and Florida A&M ruled, with an occasional name celebrity like Carol Channing or Ella Fitzgerald joining in.
Coldplay’s past collaborations include “Lost+” with Jay Z and “Princess of China” with Rihanna, so fans may hold out hope for those artists to make a cameo.
The band will play at Santa Clara, California’s Levi Stadium.
Coldplay’s reception might have been warmer this time around because the band, which apparently continues to record music, has an album (our pals at Chicagoist mull it here) that’s dropping today.
The performance, aired live on Annie Mac’s show, began with title track A Head Full of Dreams, the singalong opener of their latest release.

As for who will be potentially joining the group up on the stage, right now Bruno Mars and Beyonce are both considered candidates, with both of them possibly making an appearances.
