Tropical Storm Claudette is traveling northeast in the Atlantic Ocean, well east of the United States.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami said Claudette remains well offshore, about 465 kilometres south-southeast of Nantucket, Massachusetts.
An active hurricane season isn’t letting up as two more tropical cyclones have formed in the Eastern Pacific.
On Monday, Dolores had maximum sustained winds of 70 miles per hour (110 kph). A tropical storm watch continues from Lazaro Cardenas to Cabo Corrientes.
At 5 a.m. EDT (0900 UTC), Tropical Depression 6E strengthened into Tropical Storm Enrique.

The First Alert Weather team said the storm is moving out to sea and there is no threat to land. The storm is centred about 275 kilometres southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico and is moving west-northwest at 19 km/h. At that time, Enrique was located near latitude 15.2 North, longitude 126.4 West. About 1200 miles (1,930 km) west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, Mexico. A northeastward motion with some increase in forward speed is expected during the next few days, forecasters said.
