‘Star Wars’ cast – and one dog – really dig ‘The Force Awakens’
Where’s Chewbacca, and why is John Boyega’s character Finn – the male lead of The Force Awakens no less – relegated to a minuscule size on the right of the poster? The soundtrack is available worldwide for pre-order digitally, physically on smarturl website and at Disney Music Emporium.

A black actor who features in the new Star Wars film The Force Awakens has been shrunk from a poster promoting the movie in China – prompting a race row in the country.
Kylo Ren is the newest Star Wars villain, played by Adam Driver. “I can not get that straight”.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens in theaters on December 18.
The movie is being kept under wraps as well until the premiere such that most of the cast will be waiting for December 14 to see fruits of their labor, although a cast-only screening was held on November 24 in Los Angeles.
Fans are in an uproar because new franchise star John Boyega, very prominently featured in all the marketing for the film, is all but gone from the China poster. There is a weapon that the filmmakers, at least, refer to as a ‘Sunsucker.’ I see a churning energy device on the ground of a planet that sends a massive, lavalike beam upward – Sunsucker or not, it looks scary. The bulk of Mark Hamill’s diet secret is the “if it tastes good, don’t eat it’ diet”, apparently.
This time around you’re working with director J.J. Abrams instead of George Lucas.
Despite the fact that all of us at home have to wait two more weeks to see it for ourselves, Ridley reveals to ET that seeing the final version of the highly-anticipated film was “overwhelming”.
On the first film, I asked if I could keep my boots and the Stormtrooper helmet that I rescued Princess Leia in. It’s brilliant that they’re bringing the old actors such as Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher back.

Looking like the cover of Mad magazine come to life or the opening credits from the TV show “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, the poster has lots to keep you occupied.
